The magic of the season is set to sparkle once again as the 2026 Santa Claus Parade rolls into town on Saturday, December 5th, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM. Families, friends, and neighbours are invited to gather at the Scugog Fairgrounds, where the parade will officially kick off before winding its way through the community in a dazzling display of lights, music, and holiday cheer. Bundle up, grab a warm drink, and get ready to welcome Santa back in true North Durham style.

This year’s theme, “Under the Christmas Tree,” invites everyone to imagine the wonder, excitement, and nostalgia of Christmas morning. Floats will celebrate the joy of unwrapping surprises, the magic of childhood wishes, and the timeless traditions that make the holidays feel so special. Expect whimsical designs, oversized toys, sparkling ornaments, and heartwarming scenes inspired by the treasures found beneath the tree. It’s a theme that promises creativity, charm, and plenty of holiday delight for parade‑goers of all ages.
