About
Maya Healing Arts is a holistic wellness and healing centre based in Port Perry, serving Durham Region and the GTA. Founded by David and Simone Maian, Maya Healing Arts offers Yoga, Reiki, personal coaching, workshops, and professional certification programs focused on personal transformation and whole-body healing.
David Maian is a Yoga Alliance Certified teacher and has taught classical yoga for over 20 years in Port Perry and the Durham Region. Specializing in the Viniyoga method and Classic Astanga Yoga, David guides students of all ages toward physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. His areas of focus include mindfulness training, Ayurveda, and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Maya Healing Arts also offers a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program endorsed by Yoga Alliance.
Simone Maian is a certified Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and energy healer with over three decades of experience. Since 1989, she has provided Reiki healing treatments, workshops, and certification programs. Simone’s work uniquely combines Reiki, meditation, Chang Sen Xue, and personal coaching to support pain relief, energetic balance, and self-empowerment.
Maya Healing Arts provides Reiki Certification programs from First Degree to Reiki Master/Teacher, along with Reiki Circles and Energy Healing Workshops. Together, David and Simone create a nurturing, compassionate space that supports healing, awareness, and personal growth for individuals and families.
